uScene is an organization that connects college students to music in the community around them. We provide an informational center where students can connect with each other, find aggregated info about music in their area, and connect with professional opportunities.
Throughout September and October, uScene conducted tours and small events in cities including Rochester, Geneseo, Syracuse, and Ithaca.
Beginning in October, uScene Professional will begin operations - a business, pulled from the most passionate members of the uScene network, dedicated to creating professional opportunities in the music and entertainment industries. uScene Professional will provide professional services to area organizations and musicians in web/graphic design, writing, stage/concert management and promotion, street team support, and more. If you are a local student or recent graduate who is passionate about music and skilled in one (or many) of these areas, contact josh@uscene.net.
Throughout the 2009-2010 school year uScene will be developing a network of college students and young professionals, catering on every level to the musical needs of the population; by Summer of 2010, uScene will be operating as a full-service music production/promotion support agency.
If you're interested in developing uScene in your area, email info@uscene.net.
